The Middle East
Would it not be the best option to simply allow Hamas and Fatah to keep on killing each other, so that we don't have to do it 5 years from now. There is no solution to Islamic extermism, and never will be. These are people who are holding a grudge for things that happened, in some cases, 500 or 1,000 years ago. We've never done anything to these people (except give them millions in aid) yet they hate our freedom, and our lifestyles. Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Egypt, the song remains the same. At this point, the US government should pump as much money as possible into the West Bank and Abbas's new cabinet, to show the "common man" in Palestine, that getting along with America is much better than declaring jihad against America. Let the Gaza strip decay into the stone age, it hasn't got far to go. These people live in hopeless conditions, which the extremists try very hard to maintain. After all, if life got better, maybe everyone wouldn't be in such a rush to blow himself up, and that could spell the end of the jihad.
As long as the Madrassas continue to preach hatred, and continue to call for the destruction of Isreal, this cycle will never end. There is only one way to win this war. Good old fashioned BOMBING. Its not politically correct, scores or "innoncents" will be reported killed. I say "innocents" because I firmly believe that many of the "civilians" who get killed over there are really militants hiding in residential areas. Hiroshima and Nagasaki claimed the lives of 100,000 Japanese innocents, but in the end, probably saved lives. Its time to think about a similar (although non-nuclear) approach to the War on Terrorism.
Take the binds away from our troops, and allow them to do what is necessary to win. If this means we have to blow up a few mosques, so be it. War is ugly, and we are in a war with people who know no rules. Why are we risking our troops lives to fight a fair war?

Sox slide, still up 10
So even though the Sox have played under .500 ball for a week now, they still have a double digit lead. The Yankees are going all out, just to get within 10 at the All Star break! But NY is an old team, and all this uphill climbing in June, is gonna hurt in August. Too late Spank-Me's, start thinking about 2008.

Die Yankees Scum
So the Yankees come to Fenway for 3. In the middle of all this, A-Rod is out with tranny strippers, HGH-iambi is falling apart, and 45 yr. old Clemens is about to join a team with less chance to make the playoffs than the Royals. Johnny Damon has aged 5 years in the last 2. Life is good in Boston. Where are all the Yankee fans talking about the 26 championships now? Seems like so long ago, doesn't it. This team has faded faster than my looks.
This is what happens when you invest 200 million into a bunch of guys on the backside of their careers. This team got old as fast as I've ever seen. The good thing is that they are pretty much stuck with this mess for the next couple of years. With the new tax and revenue sharing system, even the "little sisters of the poor" who used to have to sell off all of their good prospects, can keep them. Nobody is going to be looking to help out the Spank-me'e either.
I'll talk to you on Monday, when the Yankees are 16-1/2 out.
